National Chemistry Week (NCW) is a community-based annual event that unites ACS local sections, businesses, schools, and individuals in communicating the importance of chemistry to our quality of life.

Anyone can participate! It only takes a little enthusiasm and use of the available resources to get started.

ACS members around the country can help you and they will post their events to help keep everyone informed!

NCW Contests

  • NCW Poster Contest
    Poster competition for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Entries go to your ACS Local Section NCW Coordinator.
  • NCW Chemvention Competition
    Chemical invention contest for ACS Student Affiliates Chapters.
